ABOUT ME

BEHIND THE LENS

Like a lot of boys of my generation my first camera was a Kodak Brownie.  I suppose I was luckier than most as my father was a member of the Diplomatic Service and so traveled and worked in some of the world's  more interesting and photogenic places.  Remember that in those days the world was not so accessible as it can be today.

I was able to accompany or visit him in his early foreign postings - Beirut (1952-55), Khartoum (1955-58), Port-au-Prince (1958-60), Cairo (1960-61), Damascus (1961-63), Zagreb (1963-64) and Conakry (1964-66) until I left school and myself joined the Civil Service in 1965.

I could then travel and work in my own right  in Cairo (1975), Khartoum (1987), Istanbul (1988), Islamabad (1998) and finally Beirut (2004).  I also managed to fit in some short business trips to the USA, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.  In all of these places my cameras, by this time upgraded to SLRs, were never far from my side.  At present I use Nikon DSLRs.

Whilst I have always been naturally inclined towards Travel Photography because of my background, I have recently turned to Boudoir and Erotic Photography.  All the models in those two sections are enthusiastic amateurs and I offer a free service to others.  If you are interested please contact me by using the CONTACT page.
