A little moan ... cancelling appointments

Last year in particular I was plagued by a large number of potential models who, for one reason or another, cancelled their appointments but did not have the courtesy of informing me. I quite understand that there may be many understandable reasons for this, not least the fact that you may have changed your mind. As I said the reasons are understandable. After all, it is not every day that you present yourself in front of a total stranger, sometimes wearing little or no clothing! I normally set aside a whole day for a shoot and often prepare for it in advance in different ways. Allowing for the vagaries of the British transport system (or lack of it) I am often sitting there waiting for hours on end before the penny finally drops that the model has cried off. What a waste of my time! I am not one to bear grudges and, as I said, changes in circumstances are quite understandable. Indeed, I have successfully re-booked a couple of shoots in these circumstances. However the least you could do is to contact me and say, sorry, I can't make it.
